Doggie Day Care

Emmitsburg Veterinary Hospital's Doggie Daycare is a safe place for your pet to socialize and be a dog!

Many of us work long hours and do not have the time to get our furry friends out to meet new friends and release energy. Some dogs that are left on their own throughout the day can develop behavioral problems such as chewing or digging. Doggie Daycare provides an outlet for young, high-energy dogs.

Pets that are lonely throughout the day due to family members working and going to school will have someone to socialize with, human and canine alike.

Your pet will also be provided with several 'potty breaks' throughout the day, which helps puppies learning to be housebroken and older dogs who cannot hold it as long.

EVH Doggie Daycare Rules

  • All pets must be current on the following vaccines: Rabies, DA2PPV and Bordetella (Kennel Cough).

  • All dogs over 6 months of age must be neutered or spayed.

  • All dogs must be in GOOD HEALTH. Any dogs found to have a communicable condition in the last 30 days must have a veterinarian certification of health before attending daycare.

  • Any dogs who show aggression towards humans or other pets will be separated immediately.
